Network Status and Maintenance Schedule

A network status page would be nice at the official Guild Wars website. Also a maintenance schedule so people could plan around it. Just thinkin.....hehe i know, i play games so what am i doing thinkin????

Or at least something to indicate that the server is down and they know it. :) Hard trying to decide whether its me or them.

Yeah, I have read alot of posts from others freakin out because they think something is wrong on their end..........shameless to let fans get all worked up when it's their fault......

Here's the latest official info from the Guild Wars (http://www.guildwars.com/) website:

"We're experiencing a temporary technical issue. We will be back in service at approximately 2:00 PM PDT. Thank you for your patience as we resolve this situation.


Update: Game service has been restored; we thank you for your patience. We will continue to monitor in order to quickly resolve any possible problems in the future."

I don't like to flame, but who releases a game that people can't play the day after it is launched? And you would think they would at least have something on their web page saying it is down so folks wouldn't think it was a problem with their home setup.

Well I'll be dang!!! They did finally put up a notice at their website. Looks like someone over there is using their head (or reading this forum :wink: )

I'd say that's a pretty good response time, their servers were only down for 20 minutes or so. :P
