The tech problem si this: more often than not if I am browisng the skill pages my processor usage will hit 90% from firefox until i close the window. Do you people have a loop you didn't close somewhere?

Check...it is the extensive images together with the loading sidebars that could tax a system. No loop issue found. Our site IS inteneded for HIGH BANDWIDTH available visitors.

I would prefer to not be patronized. I have a broadband connection (a very good cable line). I will be browsing a skill page, and for no reason, my PROCESSOR usage skyrockets to around 90%, as high as when I am playing games that tax my system, and stays that way until I close the window containing the website. The only thing making sense to me that would cause this is a loop issue somewhere, unless you have a better, more thought-out this time, explanation

Because he didn't answer my question and started assuming things about my internet and chastising me for them, while i clearly stated my processor usage would go off the charts for no reason

he did answer your question... He checked for a loop and didnt find one... There's never a reason too insult someone who is trying too help, its a lack of respect and common sense

And there was no reason for him to assume my internet connection and patronize me for it

It keeps doing it, and it does NOT do it when the page is loading, it is when the page is idle and I move to a different tab or different window

I have the same problem.
And so does 2 other of my guildies that experienced the same thing.

The issue is with Knights-Templar.com not our computers.

It is either with any of your animated objects on the page or the rapid changing of the status bar on the bottom of the page (more likely).

not to knock other poster, just testing:

with a AIM and music running:

on the main page i get 12-16% CPU usage
when i go to invidual class skill pages i get 20-40%

one time when scrolling rapidly on a skill page i got 80%, but i wasnt able to reproduce it
