due to the recent update my healing seed now sucks in my opinion, i would like to know if everyone feels the same way, and if so i wonder if the GW staff could return it to its former glory but to make it an elite spell....

its fine the way it is, healing seeds' energy cost reduction is well worth its time of effect being reduced too, thats my opinion anyways
P.S. This skill changes are just for this weekend, the devs are doing this as a test, too see if these changed skills and improved factions make the game balanced, if they find that the game is more balance this way, they might make them permenant

i seriously hope it doesnt work out for my healers case and my necro for that matter :D this would really mess them up and change my playing style :evil:
btw, ty for clearign that up for me, i was a little worried for my chars there for a sec

are u sure its just for the weekend? i was under the impression it is perminent. the weekend is just to test them and make sure the changes are okay.
I'm under that impression as well, that the changes are permanent. At least until the next round of changes are made! :wink:

yes thats what i meant, this weekend is a test... Too make sure the changes are ok before implementing them permanently, well, this is the impression i had from questioned asked and questioned answered anyways (in interviews and such)

Healing seed isn't as good as it used to be, and it's a real shame to because it was the 2nd best counter for smite teams, aside from natures renewal, which now blows. After playing a full day of pvp, there are far worse balancing issues than there were before the changes were made. Smite can dominate almost anything out there right now. The recharge put on draw and boon didn't do anything, you just alternate between the two. Our guild was able to make an anti-smite build already, but it can't beat anything but smite, if we run into anything else we lose. Smite teams had the hall all day today and after a while our guild was pissed and decided to run a double smite, and owned it up in tombs until a few of us got error 7. No offense or anything, I'm glad that arena net is making changes to the game, but a 5 sec recharge at least needs to be put on both draw and boon. I really like how it's much more like oldschool guild wars now in that it's hard to hold the altar for any length of time....

Smite counter:diversion and rend(drain ench and stuff).Easy to use by 1 mesmer/ne and disables all of the smiters(mesmers can multitask you know:) ).What im worried about are monk smite teams that can usualy bypass 1 mesmer with diversion.
