View Full Version : Says I have NO Account?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I read the thread about the not being able to log in, but I am not sure if this is the same problem or not.
I load the game, do the scratch off cd-key, then go to create an account, enter everything, then go back to log in and it tells me that there is no account with my email address in a little pop up window. It also says that if I changed accoutns, or just created it then to try again. So I try again, I have been trying since Friday.
I also tried to create another account, when I do that it says that my cd-key is already in use and is asking me another cd-key.
I have not heard a thing back from guild wars support other than just a generic email reply say that they received the 2 emails I sent them, one to tech support and the other to account support.
What gives? I realize that this is the weekend, but you would figure that a company that is doing a launch of a major game, would have some type of skeleton support team on site over the first weekend of its launch.
Does any one know BestBuy's return policy for opened games?

An email will be sent to your email address with a link to the activation site. This will activate your account.
After activation, you can go back and log in for the first time.

No email was sent to my email address, after 2 and half days for a reply the only thing that I am told is that sometimes the B's look like 8's and I should try entering it that way.
I did and it said it was an invalid cd-key.
Tech/Account support is really leaving something to be desired.

Nope already thought of that. I had it set to save my email addy on the log in page and i re-read it about a dozen times. Then I re-typed it another dozen times (half dozen all lower case, 3 times all upper case, and 3 times with just the letters of first and last name capitalized.)
It's just frustrating. Especially since my pre-order got to me a couple of days late to begin with.

im having kinda the same problem but not with the acc, its my password, i had to get a new one since my other wasnt working and now the one they sent me doesnt work. Bunch of good for nothings.

Well it's Monday afternoon and still no reply from the Account Support of Guild Wars. This is getting absurd.
Why don't they just confirm that the CD Key I gave them was vaild and either re-set it, issue me a new, or just set up an account for me already.
This has been going on since Friday late afternoon.
If tech support is like this in the beginning what is it going to be like when a patch comes out and causes problems?
So far Guild Wars get's an F for customer service from me.
Tuesday and still no help.
heh i have a similar issue, i got the email but everytime i press the activation link it says "page not found". GREAAAAT. anyone has comments on this?
