View Full Version : Thoughts on new Necro Sacrifice as a %?

Just curious what everyone thinks about the new Necro Sacrifices being all Percents and NOT based on skill level anymore.

I personally think it's horrid. =/ least they coulda done was make the power based on Percent of Sacrifice too....

I was looking at the new Dark Pact, many didn't use it before, but now not even I would use it. You always sacrifice more health than you can deal damage with it. The old Dark Pact, atleast you dealt the same amount of damage as you Sac'd, then you just need a supply of HP (or Regen) both of which is readily avaiable which made Dark Pact a nice low energy nuke.

P.S. hope this is right forums, since it is about Skills, and I also hope some dev's will take a look at this thread... While I do like the idea of Percent based Sac'ing, it needs to go both ways honestly. Also, Blood Renewal sac's 33% max HP, then an enemy can do Destroy Enchant (on a Sacrifice lol) and basically wipe us out instantly.

i chose other, i personally hate sac skills on wouldnt use them, i actually dont like death magic at all

Ya, i really dont like sacrificing hp to deal damage either. Kind of redundant imo.

I enjoy the Sac'ing skills. And the old Dark Pact was very useful.

It ignored armor, so you always did the listed amount of damage, and you would take that amount of damage. But because you plan to take the damage you have so many ways to get them back.

And not using Sac skills at all? <shudders> wow, ok, I won't use BIP on ya... Love that power.
