Joining a Guild

Hi all I am new to guild wars, and or any online rpg and have a ranger/warrior (L7) was wondering the advantages of joining a guild, and how do i go about doing this?

The advantage about joining a guild.... Its fun! :D You can Guild verse Guild (a type of gameplay that lets 8 of your guild members go against 8 members of another guild, very fun) Also you get a cape, and a tag, and just have friends to play with.

You go about doing this by finding a guild that is recruiting, or if you have a friend in some guild, and getting and invite that way. And officer or leader of a guild can invite you. (there is a leader of a guild, officers and normal members)
