General Starter questions

:oops: Sorry, but some basic questions.

1. Please can you tell me how I go through the north gate at Ascalon City? Do I have to do something first/ be a certain level before I can go through? I got the quest from the guard and talks about being prepared, but ...... :?

2. A little help/pointer on where can I get the necromancers Red body would be appreciated?

3. Also, is there anywhere you can store stuff (chest/bank) as my back pack and pouch are getting quite full, despite selling & salvaging?

1. You need to have an ally with you. One person runs up on top of the wall and hits the lever and the other person runes through.

2. Not exactly sure what you mean because I've never made a Necromancer, but I'm assuming it's armor. If I'm correct you should be able to craft i shortly after pre-seared Ascalon

3. Yes, there is a storage box that you can buy after pre-seared Ascalon that is shared between all of your characters

I think you are talking about leaving the prequel to ascalon city. to do this you have to be level 3 at least most people it seems are waiting till at least 6 to do this. You then get the quest from tydus and it puts you into a timer that initiates a PvP fight with others of the same basic level, after that you kill some Char and then you are into Ascalon City for the body of the game.

As for red-necro body - not sure what you mean but all armors can be died many colors, you begin in the green/black stuff in Ascalon you can buy new stuff if you want and in other areas as you progress it will get better.

Storage - been covered, and you can buy a bag expander rune once you get along a little ways to give you 5 extra slots per bag.

I'll team up with someone for the North of the Wall quests.

The necro (I've a necro/warrior) starts with the green & black & then upgrades to red & black. I've got the boots, leggings & gloves so the body part is somewhere.

I have spoken to Sir Tydus again. He asks me if I have finished my business in the area as he is talking of taking me somewhere. It sounds like I won't be coming back, so perhaps a new area? I just have 3 quests left to do in the catacombs & the north wall then I'll see where he takes me.

Hooray, there is more storage coming! I've already got the pouch (an extra 5 items) from the collector outside Ascalon City in exchange for 5 skale fins (you can only use one - I tried :( ).

No prob man- if you have all but 3 quests completed in the prequel you are definitely high enough to take the Tydus challenge - like i sd its PvP you have to kill the other guys and then some char - and boom you're in Ascalon City -

As for the armor you are looking for - I have never done the quests/collectors in the prequel to get it so I cant help you much more- but you can buy a small upgrade set in Ascalon City post-prequel but I would reccomend waiting till Yaks bend, and getting +30 armor stuff - you can survive no problem until then in the starter (initiates) armor.

where would you find the last bag (4th one)?

Not sure why you would have 3 bags and not the 4th? If you got one bag from a collector than you can just get more of whatever you have. I didn't think it was possible to get more than the belt-pouch until after pre-searing.

For the body armor you're missing I think it's from Hatcher at Fort Ranik and/or in Regent Valley with the Bear Hunters (quest) and he takes 5 Unnatural Seeds for the piece. 3rd and 4th bags are exactly the same so you get it at the same place as you got the other.

Just in case you didint know you can also get runes of holding that make those 2 bags bigger.
