I just bought a laptop and it has a ATi Radeon Xpress 200m card inside, i was wondering if that can play guild wars on it, cuz if it can ill go buy the game tomorrow

You were right the first time - this topic DOES belong in the Tech Support section. People DO post there. Check that section for the Guild Wars minimum requirements.

yeah i know i was right, i use the 1up.com forums all the time and i know how it works, but im in need for fast replies, not waiting forever to get one, and as for the minimum requirements, ive seen them, and im totally lost becuase i dont know much about graphics cards, so im just looking for someone to let me know if i can run it or not, better safe than sorry.

Just because your impatient doesn't give you the right to post in the wrong forum :? . I reccomend going to the place you got your computer (or any other decent computer shop), showing them the Guild Wars minimum requirements and your video card type, and asking them if your card is good enough to run GW.
I have a ATi Radeon 9250, if your card is better or equal to that, it will handle GW. Remember, post something like this in tech support next time.

I know this is an old thread, but just thought I would 'complete' it by posting my results. Here's what I'm running:
- HP Pavilion dv8000z CTO NB
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with SP2
- AMD Turion 64 ML-40 (2.2GHz/1MB L2 Cache)
- 17.0" WSXGA+ BrightView Wide Viewing (1680x1050)
- 128MB (+128MB shared) ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M w/Hypermemory
- 1.0GB DDR SDRAM (2x512MB)
- 80 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive
With AA at 4x and everything maxed including post-process effects I'll get about 10-15FPS in busy areas (Towns, Arenas).
In general I run at about 75% on the slider with AA at 2x and I average about 20FPS, which is good enough for me.
Turning everything off (AA off, post-process off, slider at minimum) I'll pull 40+FPS even in busy areas, which is useful for the arenas and such. If I'm NOT in a busy area, the game will actually run TOO fast (60+FPS) and result in choppy behavior, which is strange...
Anyway, overall the Xpress 200M plays the game very well.
