CGW: What can you tell us about the upcoming PVP observer mode?

GG: OM allows players to watch their guild matches and enables the viewing of high-level matches by tens of thousands of people. The system is extremely broad and versatile, and it will offer unprecedented opportunities for learning and mastering GW. We'll be announcing more details about this very soon.

:) OM seems to be a good thing. People will be able to see coreans in actions and americans and europeans... See the war rage between top notch guilds...
Goooooophmaaaah....

Only thing is :
I hope observer won't be allowed to talk during the game. It would totally ruin this idea...
I already hate comments during a sport event, I don't want to have improvised commentator who gives noobs advices during the match...

But I suppose they are not crazy :) (uh, I hope?)

I don't see what the Korean hype is about. They have like friggin 66 guilds in the top 1000 or something.

There are Korean guilds going to the regionals that are out of the top 100....whereas American guilds need to be in the top 20, or at least near it. You better watch the Americans play, their level of play has improved immensely since the game went live and in my opinion they currently dominate.

As for the Europeans, I think they even surpassed the Koreans.

Don't forget that America encompass the whole continent (Canada(ô Canadaaaa), USA(the real america huhuhu), and south america(hombre))
Europe encompass... well 25 european countries...

Corea is just a small peninsula :) (half if you speak only of south)

:D Sure thing. Some Corean player spend an awful amount of time playing just to achieve the same level as american or europeans...

 However, that doesn't mean you have to dispise your opponents.
For me, wether they come from russia, france, guatapalta, poland, liechtenstein, all players can be a worthy opponent :)

I don't understand the hate that some players seems to have for other countries player. I admit they are not brilliant folks however. The kind of people who call Greek "Grecian" (muahahaha)

I sometime see awful racial things about the current continent who has the favor of gods. That makes me sad. Mankind can be so "duuh" sometime.

As for your opinion saying that European is better than Corea-America or America being better than Europe-Corea, I would just say :
It's a matter of time zone.

Do PvP when American are supposed to sleep, and you will have more chance to beat the crap out of them. This doesn't mean you are better than them. It just mean you attack sleepy players ;)

Now that I said my opinion about this, I remind you that my topic was speaking of Observer Mode. So let's stick to it puh-leeeeze :)
Pretty pretty puh-leeeeze? :)

Half of the Korean and European guilds aren't even all Korean. VIKI couldn't go to regionals because they found out their pvp team was from other regions and it was too late to create another guild. Personally think that the Americans will take the title, still a lot of good guild from Korea and Europe though.

As for observer mode, they're making it so that you watch it later than the gvg is actually taking place, like a delay, so that guild members don't have anyway to help out their teammates that are in the gvg.

Well this is a good start as far as builds and there creation go. Even tho alot of spectators will be doin so with a pen and pad... Alot more kudos could be given to those few guys and gals who spend the time actually creatin new builds for PvP....... If this is a tool to be used for uneducated Kids(keep in mind u can be a 40 year old kid) to spam noob and chastise the losers then bad idea however if its for the gw geeks in all of us to see a small trick or watch with the concept we can learn from every1 then Kudos....

if they do it so u can stll chat with friends im sure you'll be chatting outside the arena so the teams fighting wont be effected by it and i do think it is a good idea and maybe as an observer you could click on one of the guild members names to see what skills thay have equipped and watch how the team plays and i agree we could all learn from this

and naturally it would be a great way to observe other guilds tactics

know your enemy and all that

and if you dont want to read the comments of other observers just un tick your chat boxes
