Agreed I saw a lvl 4 necromancer in post searing complaining about getting killed quickly and not being able to kill anything, even with the henchmen. And he wondered why no one wanted to party with him. :roll:

Yes i agree, do as many quests as possible and that should take you to around lv 6 ish

Then you will stand a chance more in the post searing lands :-)

get to level 7 or 8 before leacing pre-seared!

I would reccomend doing the first quest and one secondary quest (remember to not accept it as secondary!) and then just run around and kill some stuff and try to hit lvl 2.5+
