OK, so this is probably a real n00b question, but can you research the guilds out there so you know if you want to accept or decline an offer to join one?

I got an invitation to join a guild this morning, and not wanting to be rude, I have not answered yet, because I want to know about the guild before I join in, or not..... if I can do so.


One other thing, where is the guildmaster located at in case I wanted to form a guild.

If they don't have a website, the answer is most likely no. You could ask, though.

There is a Guild Master in Ascalon and one in Lion's Arch I believe.

Where is the guildmaster in Ascalon? By what area is he or she standing? I've only logged 4 hours in so far, so I don't know where most things are. :?

I think he is up by Lord Tydus (the elevated area)
