hey every1, well me personally, i think that the current char builds SUCK! no offense tho arenanet, but they really could ues a change. for example, personally, my fav build is elementalist/mesmer. a build like this should be created because it is just so awesome and it really works. this is cuz using this build i am a nuker (4 those of u who dont know what that is its a char who uses all attack magic to destroy and eliminate large groups of foes quick) and when i started yes i did realize i ran out of energy really fast and its bad to sit and do nothing while u wait 4 the energy to recharge. thats y i chose mesmer 4 my 2nd profession. using the almighty inspiration magic of the mesmer, i can steal energy from my foes while gaining that energy 4 my own use. basically, i never have problems with low energy, i always have the right amount. currently, my fav e/me level 17 char has 11 fire magic, 10 energy storage, and 6 inspiration magic. my usual skill set consists of the following skills: meteor shower (fire magic), fireball (fire magic), inferno (fire magic), aura of restoration (energy storage), glyph of elemental power (no attrib) spirit shackles (inspiration magic), channeling (inspiration magic), and energy tap (inspiration magic). Those of u guys who have played with ele's and mesmers no how powerful these skills are/ can be when used in the right combo. for instance, during a mission, i could kill a group of foes by 1st stealthy using meteor shower on al of them b4 they no i am there, this will do alot of damage b4 they can run out of meteor shower's range, and then i can use channeling to keep my energy lvl's up, and then i use fireball on closely paired foes to do yet evern more damage, and i can use spirit shackles every now and then to make sure not too much damage is being dealt to me by enemy skills by keeping their energy lvl's low. and i use other skills like energy tap and aura of restoration as needed to survive, and whenever to many foes get close combat melee on me, i use inferno to hurt them all. so basically, my build can SEND THEM ALL TO HELL!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! anyways post your fav builds and lemme have a look at it.
thanks

Just in case you wanted to know, in most cases this kind information can be found in places like: Character Builds, Templates, and Team Strategies (http://forums.knights-templar.com/viewforum.php?f=11). As for myself, I tend to rant just about anywhere on this sort of thing though (but with good warning).

I agree that the current pre-made pvp build aren't the best in the world, but I think there is a legitimate reason behind this. If you supply a "standard" build, one that can be used effectively but not greatly, you can treach newer players about pvp and let them play if they haven't yeat unlocked a lot of skills in rpg mode. Also, this could be used to promote playing rpg mode and becoming better overall at using a build while you level and gain stuff for the character yourself. When I first bought GW I was suprised to see that I could make either an rpg or pvp character. After testing out the pvp system to see if I even liked the game, I was even more persuaded to play in rpg mode. So I think that making the pre-made builds better than they are might damage the pvp aspect for those that have worked hard to get to 20 and tweaked with numbers for hours to find a good build that they can play. However, I think there should be another challenge or whatever it was that let guilds submit builds of their own for factions, only so there's something new for pre-mades.
