I wouldn't get too excited there 5th_Horseman666. First you're going to have to master the class, before you can cause that amount of damage. I've a hunch, like many here (http://forums.knights-templar.com/viewtopic.php?t=3400), that there will be an overflow of Assassins in the game. On top of which, the monsters will be using the same sets of skills that will be introduced by the new professions in Factions. This has naturally led me to begin putting together counters for both of the new professions that will be released. And I can tell you now that the Assassin can be countered fairly easily with the skills from Prophecies of the Core Professions. However, it's doubtful that many other people have put fourth as much thought into this as I have, which means you'll only have me and a handful of others to deal with.

I agree with you, and i never said the Assassin class is an easy one to play, its among the harder one to play RIGHT. I will definately make an assassin beacause i see many good possibilities for that class... and yes the monsters do use assassin skills quite effecively in-game (those who enjoy the preview weekend know what i'm talking about)
Again you are on the money with the overflow of assassin... one need only to pick any district on the MArketplace and 7 out of 10 people are assassins (most of them dancing o_0). However this is only to be expected, as many people just want to looks are the new armor and emotes...
However, i would like to point out that my comment was based completely on the cinematic and in no way on the gameplay itself... as a matter of fact as far as I can see in the preview event the Assassin is very dependant on the team for healing and aggro dicipation but I am actively looking for a viable solo assassin combination

lol, true... although I am confused as to why the ritualists were shown to be so weak, I mean at least make a spirit rift or something

I totally agree with you both. If it had been me, I'd have put up 5-6 spirits to at least occupy him, until the Warriors showed up. Or better yet have spirit toll the bell for me, so that I could make my escape.
Okay, I'll admit to not be the most noble of players in Guild Wars. But at the same time, I know when I'm out matched & when I'm not most of the time.
Speaking of the Warriors:
When the Warriors broke through the door, was it just me or did anyone else notice that they were split evenly in half between the Luxon (on the left) and the Kurzick (on the right)?
