Hey i need to know how to define items. and when i do define them does that make there value go up.

Do you mean identify? The amount of gold an NPC vendor will give you for an item does increase if you ID it first.

Ok thanks. But i still need to know how to identify the items. Who do i go to, to get them to do that.

You can buy an Identification Kit from an NPC [Merchant] in a town or outpost. An ID kit has 25 uses and costs 100 gold.

ID kits only cost 100 gold. Expert Salvage kits cost 400.
