Ok, I've finally decided that I'd start recording some in-game play for Guild Wars now, but I'm having some trouble with fraps :(
The video is all good, but I can't get the audio to record anything but my microphone, but I would like it to be in-game sound. I tried going into my audio setting, but couldn't find anything, so I don't know what to do

any help would be appreciated, thanks

Since I've never had the problem, maybe this will help:

hmmm still can't get it to work, but thanks anyway Natasha. I guess I could always just film without sound and put music in instead.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. :( It works for me! It uses less system resources to record without sound, though.

Ya.. I never really thought about that. This could mean that I'll be able to finally record some more demanding games that I used to freeze up in ever time I tried to record. And don't worry about it, you tried to help which is more than I can say for anybody else on multiple forums :) .... Fraps hasn't even emailed me back yet

Not sure if this will help, but try this:
Go into your Windows control panel. Next open up your sound folder. Then to Sounds and Audio Devices. Click the Audio tab. See what it has as the default recording tool. If it's your mic and not your sound card, perhaps that is the issue?

Negative, already tried that and when I set it to my sound card I still couldn't record with sound :(
