Which Type of Armor?

I am trying to decide between two different types of armor- The Elementalist set or the Pyromancer set. I know that there is a big difference in the number of resources involved, and thats why i am seeking advice. The Pyromancer gives a +15 armor bonus against fire attacks per piece and a +5 energy increase per piece. The Elementalist gives no protection vs fire, but gives energy recovery +1 per piece. They both have a base armor of 30. any advice would be good on which is better.

ok, both of them give +1 energy regeneration either way im not sure how you got to that conclusion, the only difference is the pyromancer costs more materials but gives fire protection, personally i would be for the pyromancer 4 sure

Im gonan guess ur in yaks bend or lions arch. I would go for the more costly one if u dont plan on upgrading armors for a while but if you are gonna upgrade the next chance u get i would not get it.

The elem set gives mroe overal armor. But the pyro set gives less overall, but more to fire damage. So, to me if you feel you will be weaker against fire damage then other damage by the pyroset. but it really depends on what you think.

get a set of both of them and use them in different situations

Yup a friend of mine does that all the time...during combat changes all clothes....funny and effective :)

Wellm he said the base defense is 30 armor which means he is in either lions arch or yaks bend....dont really do PvP until lvl 20.

Low-level PvP can be a really fun break from doing missions while you're leveling your character up. :D

but it's still a waste of resources to buy two sets of armor at that lvl cause he can upgrade in a few missions anyway.

if you can afford Pyro's buy them.... cuz if ya plan to buy the 15k armor.. the Pyro's look way better 8)
