I never really make a tank...I normally go half dmg, half ultilty. The ultilty side is stuff like a run boost, an interupt, a heal, a rez, maybe condition removel....the rest of the bar is packed with dmg or a combo of dmg and a dmg dealing stance.

Most "tanks" IMO are worthless as they dont kill!

Typically a "tank" W/Mo will have this or some varriation:

Either Healing Hands or Glads Defense will be the elite usually.

Then there are sort of two generic ways to go. One is a self maintaingin build and the other is where you will have constant monk support.

If you are "self maintaining" then you will probably add these...

Doylaks
Breeze
Watchyourself
Stance of choice or two
then 1-2 attack skills (cyclone and Executioners usually)

If you are being focus healed you might go very similar but not take breeze. This would probably focus away from the healing and go Glads and probably use Tactics attack skils like Riposte or more tactics Defense.

In some cases you might be a KD (knocdown) Warrior. Shove/Gale and hammer stuff.

If you want to be a good Warrior and tank fine just stick to maybe 2 skills for defense. Doylaks is fine but remember it slows you. Shove works, The new "You're all alone" is worth looking at. Watch Yourself is a simple taker and Heal Sig. With Doylaks and Watchyourself up you can spam Heal Sig with very few things being major concerns.

I personally bulk like mentioned about......

Damage Damage Damage as the core of the build and then add utility. Might add in a D skill like Watch or Doylaks but i hate the slow of it.

Unless someone specifically requests you to be a TANK I wouldnt build one. Also when someone asks you to be a tank then I suggest asking "how would you prefer me to be built" this way you are sure you build as they need and dont guess. The term "tank" doesnt mean the same to all.

IMO if a Warrior isnt doing damage, and a good deal of it he is wasting space on my team! No build in this game can sustain the damage output of a Warrior while also taking the damage a Warrior can take. Dont take your damage monster and turn him into a punching bag that just jabs around a bit if you get my drift. Making him a brawler that can take punches which means damage focused with a couple skills to use to beef up his livabilty.

Disclamer: Some places in this game Warriors can really stink at times and simply need to keep aggro and take damage. When in these areas find out what they need. Keep in mind that if you cant SMACK something you cannot draw thier aggro away from others.

Try and stick to Tactics stuff that you can use skills under......Glads +Doylaks isnt bad, you can still do good damage using those two skills jsut dont go overboard on self preservatin and forget you are a damager.

Here is a basic build you might consider:

Glads/Doylaks/Cyclone/Executioners/Dismember

Server/Gash/Final/Glads/Doylaks

Maybe add an addition attack skill or two, Riposte fits the sword well. Could consider Endure Pain if you still have enuff strength and you might even consider other life boosters liek in the Protection line like Life Attunement if there arent many enchant removers around.

Go 12+ Sword
High Tactics
Rest wherever

Keep a high sword level so you do good damage.....there is a big drop off in your damage if you arent at least 12-14 in your weapon......15-16 in PvE is NOT a must. In PvE Sups are never a must IMO.....

Depending on the area you might even consider Messemer Stances for resists vs certain stuff. Mantra of (element of choice) or even Physical or Elemental Resistance.

Balanced stance is nice around "critical hitting" things or knockdowns

Keep in mind many of those farming builds are specifically to kill that one guy and wouldnt necessarily be a good "all around tank". But I think reading those will help you understand things better.
