Is it possible to recover characters?

Hello All...Is it possible to recover characters from an existing account without having your original discs? GW is no longer on my computer and I don't have the original game discs. If I were to buy another set is there any way to pick up where I left off? Thanks for any information.

Hey, El Raisuli. No need to re-buy the game. As long as you know your previous key, you can download the client from the internet (a very long process, but doable), input your key, and your account with characters should be right where you left them. If you don't know your key then, I'm not sure what the answer would be except to contact Support. Hope this helps.

No need for the key, actually. All you need to do is download the client and enter your account name and password into the sign-in screen. All the information on your account is stored on ANet's servers.

Yep, you can download the client on tons of different computers and play on any of them just by logging in with your account.
