So I've been searching for my new game to replace GW....but the super cool people in this guild keep me coming back to GuildWars time and again.
But I found this game coming out in January and I must say I'm interested. Not that I'm one of those kids that loves Johnny Depp (Keira Knightley however = yummy).
It's called Pirates of the Burning Sea. It's an MMO with nationality alignments (Britain, France, Spain, Pirates). The economy comes from resources each player controls (like lumber mills, iron mines etc.). As you rise in level (max 50) you'll be able to control larger and larger ships. It has a PvE and PvP aspect and it seems your society (basically the same thing as Guilds in GuildWars) can mass to have huge naval battles. You search for treasure, escort ships, choose your fighting style, your profession and so on.
Anyway just something to think about for those of us that are too impatient to wait around for GW2 to come out. Thought some of you would be interested in at least reading up on it.

ps - I'd been waiting for the next instalment of the SimCity series only to discover it's going to be a totally different format with a new company (very very very upset about that). If anyone buys it tell me how it is but I'm not going to unless one of my friends sings its' praises. It's called SimCity Societies.
