Pre-Searing?

Hey i'm new to the game, could someone please tell me what pre-searing and searing is? Also if I leave pre searing is it possible to get back to it?

Pre-Searing is before the Charr attack Ascalon. So when Ascalon is beautifull and not messed up. Searing is the process that the Charr attack Ascalon. Post-Searing is the ruins of Ascalon, and no you can not go back to Pre-Searing when you reach Post-Searing.

The pre-searing is the "tutorial" for Guild Wars.
