Any beast has positive and negative sides just like everything in GW.There is no best skill, weapon or teambuild its all about taste.

Is there a list of beasts and there health and damage and everything about them somewhere ? Or would that be impossible to make ?

well there is no best beast in the game, i do see most rangers getting themselves bears in southern shiverpeaks

Rumor has it there is lvl 20 black widow spider in Hells Precipace that you can tame (although its quite difficult to get) Raven mentioned it to me after reading it in the official guide, so theres a high chance its not bogus info. Going to get one for my ranger when she gets there!

Wow, you can tame wild animals? Man, I have alot to learn about this game. Can't wait to play. Even today I had the urge to get on my computer and play it, the only problem is I don't own the game yet. I'll be getting it next week.

so far i'm stickin with my melandrus stalker since its proving to be very good so far. only thing i think i would trade up for would maybe be a bear but i dunno.

My friend said that the Black Bear is the best since it has the most HP/Def/Attk, but as you guys said there is no best.

i think just like all the other aspects of this game it depends alot on the player and how well he uses his pet in battle. it generally seems that my pet is the last one alive in my party 80% time when everyone else gets slaughtered (most people in the party are around level 13)
