To start out, I'd like to say: No disrespect to those who've bought a strat guide, or to those who make them, but I'd never buy one.

It just takes a bit of the fun out of things if you know exactly where to go. No wondering if the Spell of Epic Kickass is at the trainer in this new place you found, or what's in this next area. One of the reasons I bought GW is because I like exploring and finding things. And as soon as I finish the storyline, with one of my characters, I intend to go out and find EVERYTHING. Every single little thing. Every single area, every single trainer. And because I'm insane, I also intend to try and get every single skill.

Can't beat the Necro in my guild who's something like 1 elite and 4 ordinary skills from having every single Necro skill in the game so far, maniac.

I heard I was was in the guide but havent seen the pic of myself yet since I dont have the prima guide. If someone could scan that would be really cool!

Glad to help Gaile. Testing for the past year while I was finishing up school I couldnt always make the all calls. So I put more emphasis on being at such events and getting up from anywhere between 4 and 6AM my time for European press demos was not always an easy task, but for Guild Wars... very happy to make that extra effort. I've had a great time watching and helping Guild Wars grow.

lol yea guild wars came out about a month ago, i played the Beta Tests but not the Alpha Tests...

CowTipper, there are KT members who have been playing (Testing is FUN too) Guild Wars for over a year. Plus, Wanderer and myself were recognized by ArenaNet as two of the top twenty-five testers withthe highest level of commitment to the test, and have exceeded even our already-high expectations for what a tester can bring to the development process and five more KT members Jade Star, Sarra Sweet, Mickey, Lady Mel and Andromeda were commended testers by ArenaNet (this is not meant to brag, but to affirm you have qualified forum moderators (http://forums.knights-templar.com/viewtopic.php?t=1005) and many KT guildies who have a lot more than beta experience with Guild Wars..

We have really gotten to know some of the staff of ArenaNet, plus more importantly, we learned of how the entire organization is so comitted to quality and GW player "ingame" experience. We have even be fortunate to have NCsoft staff join the KT Guild in Alpha Testing - so we have experienced this quality first hand.

These very unique experiences and sharing have motivated KT with our website, forums and ingame relationships!

I think it is simply awesome. It's one of the reasons I frequent this site.

I plan on getting a strategy guide as well, but was committed to finishing with one character before doing so. This way it wasn't a spoiler. I'm about there with my lvl 20 W/E Kevo Jack. My others have varying degrees to go, and I will use the guide to help get all the skills for them.

I received my strat guide from the gracious Mahomet and that is a pic of my char on page 18! and also to my surprise there is another pic with a closeup of my ranger on page 75 within the ranger section of the guide! check it out!

I picked one up, it really helps a lot mostly with the bonus missions since im trying to get my new ranger up the ranks. This time around im also trying to do all the quests. The women of GW dig rangers :mrgreen:
