I am new to guild was and when i was lvl 4 i imediately got out of pre-searing.

i was wondering if I missed important things.. i got my professions but I don't know how many skills you can learn in pre- searing. I only got 2 of the ranger, and 3 of the elemantist. Have i missed something?

There is a skills guy in Ascalon and you can get some skills from him so dont worry. I'm not sure If some skills were specific to pre-searing that you couldn't just buy after. Charm Animal comes to mind but the book says you can get it from the vendor so I think you are safe. Are you a Ranger/Elementalist? If so, cooool that Is my second character, I do a lot of damage with fire skills. The only thing I can think of that you might have missed is leveling up a bit. Both my characters were level 7, I did most of the quests that I could find berfoe I went through searing. I didn't stick around much after that. There will be enough Char to kill and get your level up well good luck

Ya you did miss a alot because there are three of each trainer so you missed a lot of skills and alot of exp points also

even tho u didnt get all the skills in the pre-searing u can still obtain them from trainers post-searing.

I did the same thing and immediately jumped to post-searing at the first chance I could. I don't feel I ever missed out on much, as there is so much to do and find in post-searing Ascalon that it well makes up for it. (And I didn't mind one bit Lvling for 20 hrs in Old Ascalon till I was capable enough to fight Char) :)

I heard crazy things about people in the pre-Searing. Some of them getting up to level 15.

Lol...but it can be done...just grind those lvl 10 chars day after day. Then you will be a lvl 15 char wearing a lvl 0 armor

Yeah, but pre searing was real purdy. 8)

Anyway, the Ranger by the burning tower ouside of the walls will give you some skills including charm animal if you accept the missions from him.

pre-searing seems like a place you should stick to till you get all of its advantages.. like in pre-searing theres a quest that gives you ressurection signet. And the skills usually cost less and you seem too lvl up fatser there too.

The worst thing that i noticed is that you will probably have difficulty finding a group to do missions because of you low lvl.. unless your a monk
