Altheas Ashes

i need help with the Altheas Ashes quest that is giving by the Duke in Piken Square. I'm a lvl 15 W/R

i'm working on this one myself, i think the guys here at work are gonna help me walk through on it. but i don't think i would be as much use to you i'm only level 9 r/w

if anyone could post up a walkthrough for this quest even screenshots would be of great help

Here's a screenshot of my map where Althea's Ashes are located. This is after you have met her ghost and gotten the urn in the previous quest.

its a pretty long walk.. and the place surounding the ashes is packed with char.. best thing to do is get a warrior to sprint to the urn when ya get the flame corridor.. this way even if you die, you ahve the urn in your invent

Just a note for people having trouble...

Target a kitty, call out the one you will smack (cntrl/shift) and have everyone gang up on it. Lure the charr out a few at a time - smack one with a spell, arrow, etc, then let them come to you for some good 'ol 4 on 1. Many times their shaman or firecallers will just wander around while you slaughter their buddies.

This strategy works well until you have 3 groups of charr @ the top of the stairs (where the ashes are). Then everyone in your group must rush up & kill 1 group of charr at a time. (If yer monk's on the stairs, he's not looking @ you to heal you). I suggest getting the shamans on the left first...

(bring lots of rez signets...)

yea thats what i did with my monk but the bonus is that there is a res thing by it so you can keep runnin at it till you get it

The best course of action would be to take the quest and start from Grendich CourtHouse.

much shorter walk
