I hope the ArenaNet people see this and act on the needed changes, and take the ideas for new content into account, if anyone knows how to get this to them, plz do.

First, Thank you for these things done right.

Ability, after ascension, to switch secondary class and go back and get all skills for all the other classes, if would have been a serious pain to have to go through whole story each time I needed to unlock skills for all characters.

Ability for a guild to change its cape design, very essential.

Now for the things that need to be changed.

1. Need unlimited bank storage, or enough to have two sets of each armor in the game, like 2 knights armor, one red and one black, etc, and 2 of every weapon, so even though you dont use a cleaver, if you like how it looks, to can carry it around to look at it, as well as stacking runes so one can have 10 runes of vigor, and be able to have all the runes for all characters. Basically, have enough storage so if one is a conservation hog, or just wants to be able to store a set of silver, black, red, blue, purple, green, orange, etc wyvern, knights, platemail, etc... and and fire swords (all types, all fire enchanted and lightning and cold enchanted), axes (same) and hammers (same) and wands(same), and bows(same), etc... You get the idea. I played a game where there was limited bank storage, and I hated it, and guild wars currently has LESS SPACE! VERY BAD ArenaNet, I bought this game to get away from that restriction on players.

2. Henchmen getting loot. This really sucks, they dont use it, they have no need, it takes away from farming and/or from player parties for quests and missions. Henchies getting drops and gold really really really sucks, make the suckinesss stop.

3. I dont know about this yet, but if a guild cant change its guild isle, that needs to be changed to where it is like the cape ability, except there is no cost involved, the guild can just change isles so it can experience each isle and enjoy all of them. And/or it might be cool for a guild to be able to own each one of the isles.

4. The arena situation needs to be changed to where higher lvl characters can still play on older maps like ascalon city and yaks bend arenas, and preferably have those arenas as well as the coastal arena of lions arch be made so they are lvl 20 only, so instead of having weaker lvl 15s,16s and 17s, all are lvl 20, like in tombs. This may already be in place in tombs, where lvl 20s can experience all the old maps, but if it is not, it needs to be.

5. I am thinking that it would be better to just have it so players automatically start with a belt pouch and bags, and they are fully upgraded, instead of buying bags and runes of holding. Perhaps even make the extra 3 containers automatically be as large as the first might be nice, instead of having to leave behind items in quests and missions due to no space.

6. FRIENDS LIST!!!!! The limit on friends in the friends list pisses me off!!! I have had to delete people from my friends list to make way for new ones, eventually i will have to delete even those I REALLY REALLY DONT want to delete. This REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!! If I want to have 1000 friends on my friends list, I should be able to. This needs to be changed immediately! Also, it would be cool to have a personalized separater, so for example, I could divided my friends between those who knew where I got my name from, and those who dont, or those who I noticed to be excellent players, and those who were not. This would be awesome.

If you only change two of these necessaries, change 1 and 6, bank storage and friends list. These are must haves immediately. Thats mostly all I can think of now, I will probably have more later.

Now for content

1. I heard that WoW has a design where the horde can attack the towns of the alliance and vice versa. Something like this would be awesome in guild wars, though you will probably add it in the expansion. Like, instead of just guild battles, you could have guild WARS, with actual territority being attacked, defended, conquered, and lost. Things like warring with the white mantle, a civil war in ascalon, (though you killed of Rurik so I dont know how that would work). Having naval fights, like guilds could build ships, and fights on the high seas, and destroy each other with ship catapults like that mission or quest againsts the charr with those trebuchets, and ships could sink ships, or they could be pulled together and have boarding parties attack each other. SWEET! And here would be a kick ass feature, BEACH ASSAULTS. Yes, I hear that guilds can attack other guilds, why not have beach assaults, with like 80 (8 in a team x 10) landing on the beach, like in the movies TROY, with the first team to break through the npcs monsters and establish a beachhead earning extra fame and rewards, (like the Myrmidions in Troy, led by Achilles, also known as Brad Pitt). and other ideas like this. like kryta attacking canthea, or kryta versus ascalon, OR like in the first guild wars in the story, instead of nations fighting each other, the guild of different nations fight each other! So krytan guilds attack ascalon guilds and canthean guilds and remnants of Orr guilds, or shiverpeak guilds, or whatever. also, there could be mercenary guilds, roving ronin, pirate guilds! Also, lets say you couldnt let guild just randomly attack other player guilds or nations, you could have guilds vs npc guilds and nations. Like a guild could become a pirate guild and attacking the shipping of kryta and canthea, or they could become the police who stop those pirates. Guilds could attack cities, like Lions Arch. Also, it would be cool to expand on the civil war in the shiverpeaks, with players fighting for Ironhammer, unfortunately they cant fight for the stone summit do to the rascist deal with them, but it would be cool nonetheless. also in the expansions, you could make it so guild could return to the nations, like haveing guildhalls in the shiverpeaks, and in ascalon and kryta. Also, it would be sweet to have guild vs npc missions and quests, like guilds in ascalon fighting the charr or rebuilding ascalon, restoring the soil etc, fighting the stone summit in the shiverpeaks, joining the revolution against the white mantle, or fighting for the white mantle? Etc... Also, if you expanded the cities, you could, in the expansions, make it so you could join a policing guild, or a thieves/robbers/mafia guild.

2. Also, it would be sweet to have a assassin sub-profession, where you become an entirely different profession that instead of its explorable areas and quests being fighting animals and dragons, for the more sociopathic of us players, we could kill npc people, which would be awesome to have npcs on a guild isle, like the Knights Templar, and another guild sends its own or hires assassins to go and kill npcs to send a message (mafia style) to the guild being targeted. And the quests for this assassins profession would be to kill certain people in cities and outposts. Players could become assassins at will, and lose their warrior/ranger skills, and gain the assassins skill set instead, and then return to the w/r profession to continue with the storyline, etc. Also, there could be uses to using mercenary (non guild affiliated players) to perform hits, because you could make it so that if a player is at his guildhall when the assassin attacks the npcs, he cannot identify the guild associated assassin, which he would be able to if the assassin were in a guild. The list of possibilities is endless.

3. Also, when are we going to be able to get armor that looks like white mantle and stone summit armor? I want I want I want.

Basically, the ideas behind my suggestions for content is to take the player away from the Super Heroe feel, such as being "the chosen" and becoming more of a regular guy or gal, except you have a higher calling than to die in the trenches or to guard gates. Basically, instead of being superman, you are more like the character Nicholas Cage played in the movie- Windtalkers, where he was a marine who was awesome at killing, almost a superior marine, but he died in the end, like a real person. I want to bring that feel to Guild Wars, the feel of WAR, not fights. Thank you for reading this, and hopefully you will consider my suggestions, or variants upon it. Just remember, the must haves must be done, you need to make unlimited storage and friends list, those are necessary and soon. These others are just nice ideas. If the designers wish to contact me, maybe offer me a writing job, or something, my email is halojaegerlex@yahoo.com Thanks again for taking the time to read this.

1)LImited space is great...that way you are forced to sell stuff not to keep i all for yourself.Big storage=no trade, the idea is to connect people not make a lot of rich people with uber loot they dont even use
2)Henchies should get loot, since they replace people, without their loot you would just run all over the place and henchies would do your work
5)wrong...if you started with everything you dont get the same feeling than when you get that exta treat(and having 100bags with you is not realistic)
6)You are soo right on this one...100people on the list should be the min

About the war i think it would be cool if you had an area of conflict where different races fight eachother. You could join any race in the curent conflict, there would be battles of nps and people.Like a reigon torn by war(see Planetside concept).Armors should get extra different looks and features.

O and being a hero means you are the one in charge of your decisions, but a true hero is decided by his action not his given title. If you are a hero you prevail, if you are not you fail.Anything is possible in guild wars.

I just thought I'd comment :).

I hope the ArenaNet people see this and act on the needed changes, and take the ideas for new content into account, if anyone knows how to get this to them, plz do.

All you have to do is exactly what you've done - post in a fansite forum. We read the fansites regularly.

2. Henchmen getting loot. This really sucks, they dont use it, they have no need, it takes away from farming and/or from player parties for quests and missions. Henchies getting drops and gold really really really sucks, make the suckinesss stop.

Henchmen receive loot as payment for your services. Once they join your group they earn loot as if they were a real player. This also helps make sure that everyone in the game receives a fair share of loot over time. If Henchmen did not receive loot then anyone who played as a solo player with henchmen would receive far more loot than a player who played with full human groups.

3. I dont know about this yet, but if a guild cant change its guild isle, that needs to be changed to where it is like the cape ability, except there is no cost involved, the guild can just change isles so it can experience each isle and enjoy all of them. And/or it might be cool for a guild to be able to own each one of the isles.

Guilds can change their Isle. I believe it currently requires another Sigil to do so.

1. As anubit said, this would definatly take away from the economy. Many of the richer people would horde all their cash and items and their would be a lot of trading going on. Also, a lot less people would give away free stuff. Some people who dont feel like trading and have a full stash will give away the items in low level areas to people who need them. I do not think you would see this happening as much if you had unlimited storage.

2. Henchman not gettting loot would be horrible. Yes its annoying that you dont get as much loot, but if you did get all the loot no one would party up with each other to quest and PvE would suck even more.

3. The guild leader can look at each of these areas before he chooses them. This lets him get an idea before he picks the one best suited to the guild. If they choose a hall that they didnt like then they can change it by buying a new one via a sigal. I think taht they should also make a way to get a sigal through pve though. Many of the guilds that focus on pve are forced to either fork out large amounts of money or they have to do pvp, which is not the focus of their guilds. This mission or quest could be made very difficult and make it so you must have 8 people in your party to do it.

4. The point of having arenas like the ascalon arena and yaksbend arena are so that people can experience pvp before they ascend. turning these arenas to lvl 20 minimum would make being pre-ascended even worse then it is now.

5. I agree with Anubit on this part. You definatly should need to work, even if its not that much work, to get the bags. Its not even that far till you get the belt puch + the bags. About the runes of holdings, I personally have never used one. I really dont see the need, when you farm your ussually doing short runs or farming gold in low level areas. THis means that you dont need the extra 10 spots that you get fromrunes of holding. These really aren't neccesary imp until atleast ascension.

6. This definatly needs to be changed. It should atleast be 100 as anubit said.

Content:

1. The raid idea could work I guess but I think they should just make more kinds of guild battles, Maybe even have team guild battles. Like, you choose one of the guilds on an alliance list and then challenge another guild who chooses their allies. I think the beach head idea would also be pretty cool. I would like if their was a defend the castle scenario as well. You have a party of 8 and then you have to see how long you can last against them. Guild missions and quests would also be pretty cool. So instead of just having the pvp at the guild hall, there can be some pve missions that start from there. I think this would make many of the people and prefer pve a lot happier and it would give them even more reasons to join the guild.

2. Definatly dont like this idea. It definatly does not fit the idea of Guild Wars and I really dont think that it would work that well.

3. Yes stone summit/white mantle armor would look sweet.

Yeah I tend to agree with the feedback on the loot. I think a SLIGHTLY larger stash would be nice but having a monster stash or "house" (like you could in Morrowind), would take away a huge amount of people trading. Since I just started my own guild yesturday (and no i'm not recruiting here :)), I'm not sure about the island thing, but changing the cape, or making it a turn on/off ability would be great. Hell I'm still trying to AFFORD a cape after i bought my full wyvern set lol.

Now many of us remember the first time we started out in the game, and how lost we were with items/quests etc. I was walking around Ascalon like a college freshmen that didn't know where his classes were. Then some guy named "Jungle Bob" (no kidding), came up to me, and GAVE me a decent sword. Reminded me of that sappy movie Pay It Forward. Since then I've given away TONS of items to lower level characters, especially minor runes. People remember you, i got a thank you from a guy I gave a staff to last week.

This would have never happened in D2. In early D2 battlenet, and other online games, trading was something "only bad people that want to steal do." I've noticed in this game people are MUCH more willing to go on quests together, work together on those quests, and trade openly. Not allowing henchies in on loot/items would make this go away in a weekend of play.

I think their should be a serperate unlimited section that is devoted just to armors, so that you can always look cool, and also be ready for the newwest flavour of the month :D

I have been talking with other GW players, and I found that a lot of players would like to have more Dungeons/Catacombs/Castles/etc to explore. Some could be missions or quests, but some could be just cool places to check out, and maybe get an elite skill, or some good loot.

I for one, enjoyed the catacombs and think this is a concept that should be furthered in the game expansions.

You know what I am talking about. Some dungeon crawls!

BTW: Thanks to all the developers who care about us fans. I have noticed a lot more interaction from you all than on any other game I played in the past....THANKS!!!!
