Guild Wars requires the TCP\IP & UDP Port: 6112 to be fully unrestricted and accessible inbound and out. If you are connecting to Guild Wars while on a Campus or Business Network, please consult your Network's Administrator to verify that this Port is available. If you are on a home LAN (Local Area Network) or behind a Router, please make sure you Network's hardware is properly configured.

I read in another forum that Netgear came pre-configured for star craft, and that one use same port. All you had to do was to remove that configuration and you are ready to go.

FYI
Linksys out-of-the-box plug-n-play for GW with all the newer wired and wireless routers. I have put up two now and no issue to setup, even with heavy encryption on the wireless.

Guild Wars requires the TCP\IP Port: 80 & 6112 for TCP and UDP to be fully unrestricted and accessible inbound and out. You will also need to disable the "Port Triggering" in the router settings. If this works then you should try disabling uPnP on your router or you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software for your router as well. Also, you may need to update the firmware for your router or the router could be faulty.
