Whats the difference in a role-playing character and a player versus player character please help thank you.

A Player versus player "pvp" is a character that starts at lvl 20, and you can choose their weapons and skills* ,that has access to ONLY PVP AREAS(red dots on map, and guildhall green dot)

A role playing character starts at the "tutorial/noob ascalon city. They do missions, and explor areas.

*To unlock skills for your PVP character, you must "buy" or "aquire" them with your PVE character(role playing)

So what ur saying is in order to get a noobie player from explorer to PvP you have to buy or aquire the skills neccessary to be a PvP ?

Pretty much. They aren't just going to hand you an extreme PvP char.
