You can see from my sig below what characters i have. I am thinking of deleting my N/W once I beat the game with my E/R and making a new character. My sister is playing the 4th character slot when I am at work. I want to have W as my main profession, but I'm still trying to decide what for the second profession. Kinda thinking about W/Me since I haven't tried Me at all. I dont want W/Mo cuz everyone has that, and not W/E cuz i already have E on my other 2 characters. I could do W/N but it wont be as new a gaming experience cuz i had a N/W before. I was also toying with the idea of W/R and just using warrior attributes and beast mastery. Suggestions?

Well, you could have some good fun with Shatter Hex on a Warrior but W/Me IMO is the least diverse Warrior build. You can use the interrupts, drains, and steals. Can also use the DoT but many of those are fairly long casts and high energy use. The Anti-Warrior and Caster skills can also work but really Mes in PvE dont shine well.
Shatter Hex is great fun especially vs Water skill foes and BIG crowds. You can run around with an Energy setup on switch to help you more also. Illusion of Weakness can be pretty nice. Epedemic with Axe or Sword might be fun but not sure when Epedemic is found.
W/R can be good in PvE. Many seem to like having the pet and in PvE there is always room for an 8-9 spec in something outside Str and Weapon. YOu can also do a little trapping maybe, or even play with Applied Poison.
Now if it were me and I had not played an ME and wanted to get skills unlocked then go for it. A warrior without a secondary is still a sound character.
THe more I talk the better a W/Me sounds but IMo it would still be my last choice as a secondary for a Warrior in PvE.

thanks for the reply. im wanting the character for pve, but also pvp. thats why im getting rid of my n/w. it was pretty effective in pve, but not so much in pvp. i might just create a pvp character, as i've played the story almost twice now. but if i create a pvp only character then i wont be able to use that character in the new content.
Well, I could see a mesmer secondary. Having empathy or price of failure equipped would be awesome. Spam it on a person you are about to engage in melee with and they will help you kill themself!
A few energy stealing or draining skills like spirit shackles or energy burn could whittle away a monks ability to defend themself against your onslaught.
A remove hex to free yourself from bondage if your casters are dead or busy.
Be creative! I think a W/Me could be extreemly dangerous if done correctly in either PvP or PvE. Seriously, most would expect a warrior to know nothing but how to tank and thus underestimate you until too late.

i decided last night to keep my n/w :D i reconfiged her
attributes:
before-------after
blood 14-----blood 14
soul reap 9--soul reap 5
swords 10---swords 12
got the max long sword from the collectors that is +15% when enchanted. since I use the enchant demonic flesh, i have +15% all the time  and i got a zealous hilt to make up for lowering my soul reaping. now just gotta get a good pommel of fortitude.
her skills now are:
vamp gaze
vamp touch
shadow strike
life transfer
sever artery
galrath slash
demonic flesh
rez
playing with her last night i got with a group that lasted 13 wins :D it was funny, we had a monk that was more smite than heal. she would make a warrior chase her and then own them 1v1 far away so they couldnt be rezzed
check out plague touch (transfers one condition to target touched foe) it works nicely when combo'd with a warrior. if you get crippled you can just give it to the monk or whoever you're targetted.

yeah i have used it in the past, if i had another slot i would. i'd rather include something that does damage though. maybe ill try using it instead of sever artery.
you do need a mes.. the elite skill Ilussionary Weaponry and flurry are a great combo.

I doubt thet with ill weaponry you can make 63 dmg.It has fixed dmg and is not that high.

so i ended up making a w/me instead of a me/w. was a hard decision, better defense or better energy? i decided to go with better defense, so ill experiment with a zealous upgrade, and carrying a focus insead of a shield. its going good so far. except in the ascalon area im not doing too hot cuz i only have one ax skill that requires adrenaline, so im really hurting for energy.

Go Sword for a while, Sever/Gash is nasty early......when you get a few more skills make the change.
BTW, 63 damage with IW is impossible/bug. IW is damage capped and no mods can boost its damage as IW actually never scores a hit.

heres the cap "For 30 seconds, you deal no damage in melee, but whenever you attack in melee, target foe takes 8..34 damage. "

Hum seems low, this may be a 12 attrubute listing as I belive it can exceed 40 slightly with 16 Atts.
You know, 64 damage........that sounds like Wostrals Worry. That isnt a bad skill to pair up with IW as it is low energy. Maybe in the carnage you mistaken a Wostrels damage for IW a few times.

Its possible I just know it hurt to fight that guy... I had to back off him a couple times and slap bleeds on him... and wait for him to lose his weap... Which helps if ya know the activation time... All goes into my theory that the best PVPer is someone who isn;t afraid to retreat temporarily to gain a advantage... I'm not talking full scale running those guys are just fun to hunt down when they get to far from there monk and beat down... wait for the monk to come to try and rez him and slap the monk around a bit...
