rune question

This may have been asked before, and if so, its about to be asked again. :lol:

I know that runes of the same type do not stack with each other, but will the warrior runes of absorption stack with the base damage reduction abilites on knights armor?

I ask because I want to get a sup rune of absorption to put in my knights armor, but I dont want to waste my time or money if it wont have any effect.

Yes it does stack. There's some more info in this thread (http://forums.knights-templar.com/viewtopic.php?t=1611), where someone asked a similar question. Basically you get -2 damage received from Ascalon or Knight's armor. A minor rune gives you an additional -1, a major gives you an additional -2, or a superior gives you an additional -3 damage received.

Yes, it will still give you the damage reduction from the rune and armor

i'm not too positive on the -2 dmg reduction for the knights and ascalon armor, but in the guide it says -1 dmg recieved for those armors. i'm not sure if there were any updates to change it or the guide could be wrong?
