I would like to have a chest in your own Guild Hall where you can put common guild stuff like common gold of the guild and loads of common crafting materials.

Especially the tons of crafting materials annoy me in my own storage.

I would really like to see a guild chest in the hall.

I heard that they were putting this in waaaaay back at the begginning of beta, but I too, am still dissapointed that it wasn't added, so I'd really like this too

yeah it sounds like a good idea in theory, but you have to trust everyone in the entire guild. someone might get disgruntled and decide to make off with the entire guild chest

Well if there would be such a chest guild members can still decide on their own if they trust each other and if they want to put their stuff into it.

i think they just need to add more space to storage, cuz yea my materials take up most of the space. even 5 more slots would be nice

I also think it's a good idea for common storage! To mitagate the possiblity of dishonesty, there could be passwords given for either select individuals or officers, etc...

a password is a good idea. i think i would create a guild for myself just so i could have the extra storage :D

Wouldn't it be simpler just to add 2 rows of storage?

Because think about it.. How huge would the storage have to be for it to make a difference... If theres lets say 35 people in your guild?

Sure, great idea but one problem i seeee......*bing* 1000 bug reports a day of stuff being stolen from the chest, a password would be nice but they could just ask for the password, what's the point of having a chest if you don't trust the people who can access it...or if they stay in your guild for a bit then eventually get the pass and take stuff....lots of bug reports.

Solution: make it like a chest but it can't be removed. You must put a claim on the item saying you would like it then the person who originally put it in there has the option to accept or decline giving the item. If you see someone putting claims on every item then press "g" click just left of their name then press "Kick from the guild".

MUCH safer, more efficient solution everyone will be happy with and i strongly sudgest posting that on the alpha forums because the guild stash and all that like the guild banners that i heard about back before e3...i duno it really got me pumped about the whole guild thing and it sounded really cool, I hope we can re-introduce some of those ideas because banners would be sick in the Guild Halls.

I wouldn't care about a Guild Chest cuase our leader keeps the stuff, i just want a regular chest in their >.< i get tired of going somewhere to get the stuff from another place then head back to trade with someoene.

best thing i see that could work is a Guild Auction.. Would work kind of liek Litebringer said

My idea is not really like an auction, it's the same as your personal storage except much bigger to suit the whole hall and you can't take the items out until the person who placed it in gives you the ok, basically a saftey issue thats all.

Yes but what i meant is that my idea would kind of work like your idea.. But instead of puting claims on an item... You put a bid

This Auction thing doesn't just need to be a guild thing.. If they had some in towns it'd be great too.

I shall put a bid on the items I put in there?

I like the idea of Litebringer much better.

Maybe it is even better if you can lock items you put in there and you are the only one to unlock it. So you can leave locked and unlocked stuff in there. With a mouseover you can see who locked which item.

Obviously not.. Don't you knwo how an auction works?? You put a bid on items you want.. Not your own.. thats stupid.

Again..How big will the Guild Storage have to be for it to matter?? if its as big as the one we currently ahve... And your guild holds 35 members.. Seems pretty small, which is why i recommend adding 2 rows on the current storage and leave it at that... Because really?? Why do you want a guild storage so bad? What will it do that will aid you? All i cna think about are the bad things.. and if it requires high security mesures for it too work, Its not worth it.

I like the idea of having a place to share stuff within your guild.

My recommendation is to introduce such a guild chest with the option to put items locked and unlocked into it.
