W/Mo help.

Hi, I'm new to gW (after retiring from WoW), and wondering if anyone can help me out with a .... Warrior/Monk Build.
i was hoping someone could lead me in the right direction of what weps to use, and abilities/attributes to have.

There is no "best" weapon, there are best weapons for what you want to do. It is very simple to change weapon classes on a Warrior so I suggest you try them all out as you grow your guy. Hammers will be what you start with. They hit hard all the time even on normal attack but are slow and you haev less D.

Swords and Axes are sort of the same but a bit different. Both are same speed and they have resonably the same "average damage" but the Axe can supply big thumps like a Hammer with high rolls and the right skills. The sword is more "consistant" and has bleeding that is easy to apply and works wonders in PvE. Sword also has a big finisher called Final Strike that makes people drool some!


Play them all, learn them all, dont trap yourself into thinking Sword is the best, or Axe or Hammer. Many times the weapon can be greatly enhanced with certain skills from a secondary proffession.

You cna also change secondary classes later.

If you're playing pve I reccomend a sword (1 handed) and use a lot of self heals

If you're playing pvp I reccomend a Hammer(2 handed) for the knockdown/interrupts, but instead of doing self heals I would do smites to dish out extra damage since you'll already have a good healer on your team and most teams won't kill warriors until the end anyway
