Character Wipe?

I logged into Guild Wars today and my characters are still active, items and all. Will they be doing a wipe on the 28th or can I start playing? :o

Ah, I see. You can't actually log into the game. They altered the log in sequence so that you can update your account with the access code for the full version or collector's edition.

Once you can actually log in with a character, you will see it's been wiped and the look will be updated for next time you're at the character selection screen.

I'm sure the wipe has already happend. Your charcaters' images will not be updated until you actually get in game with them.
