im thinking of scrapping my mo/e as I am finding myself getting owned in pvp, and its just not my style. i was thinking of making a w/me but I dont like the idea of only having +2 energy regen. as i play pvp with my n/w i am able to survive most onslaughts with my hp stealing spells. except for good mesmers, they can take me down, and fast. so heres what im thinking. (i will play pve, but i want a good pvp at the end of it all)

me/mo-automatic target if their is no other monk, and i dont plan on healing other ppl

me/e-already have experienced an e primary

me/n-already have experienced a n primary

me/r-just doesnt seem to be effective, seeing the trouble i had with my e/r.

me/w-maybe but i got questions for other who have me's

1) with n/w i had the benfit of life stealing spells to keep me alive. is it hard to stay alive as a me? what spells have helped keep your me alive?
2)with n/w there is an armor set that had 70 armor. is there a similar set for me? what are the armor lvls for a me?
3)play pvp against mesmers they seem like that can inflict a good amount of damage. is this true?
4)any other general comments on your me experience

1) Not really, its nothing like life siphon and well of blood... But illusion of weakness and ether feast might help you keep yourself alive, if used correctly. You can check the skill list (http://www.knights-templar.com/mesmer_skills.htm) for more info.

2) Max you can get is 60 AL, at Droknar.. Again you cna look at the armor set list (http://www.knights-templar.com/mesmer_armor.htm) for more info.

3) Uhm.. Of course there is a build that can inflict lots of dmg using Mes.. I don't know exactly, but im sure there's one.

Mesmers can completely shut down a caster so that if they cast stuff they will be killing themselves, they can also stop a warrior fairly well by using empath to deal damage back and soothing images, sto stop them from gaining adrenaline. A different mesmer build can also deal damage. If you're playing a mesmer warrior you can use Illusionary weaponry to deal out some major damage... just throw some shutdown on one caster, use illusionary weaponry then flurry, and then blackout the target you are attacking so that they can't do much either...it's a build that my brother and I made up and it works pretty well because ward against melee and aegis and such do not effect it.

Mesmer's have some healing skills for not only health, but energy as well.
But none of them only use energy. You have to steal something from a monster to gain something for yourself, such as stelaing 8 energy points from a monster, and then gaining 5 health for each point stolen.
