Since 16 is max for shields, why the obsession for these ones? Do they have better looks, or better enchantments?

Well I need a good shield and a eternal or shadow are the best looking to me.

yea there great.. and you can find sum with great mods, like +# to health... And they look great

i have a gold shadow shield with +7 armour and oh yeah its maxed(16) and it has -2 damage reduction

What is the required attribute level, and what situation does the damage reduction rely upon? (while in a Stance, Hexed, or Enchanted)
