I am new so i dont know if this goes in here or not

I was thinking about this after i was playing Fire Emblem. Why don't they have characters who are half breeds? I thought wouldnt it be cool if people could be half bird or what ever they wanted to be.

i actually like the fact that all the characters are human. IMO it keeps it from getting too out there

Well you can technicaly be a half breed.. In the sense of the word, since you can have a second profession.

takes me back to the good ol' days with Basic Dungeons and Dragons. you know, when Halfling was a Class, and you could only get 8 levels of it, at which point ALL halflings retire from adventuring, and become sherif in their home town :D

I think that would suck having the whole breed thing. In WoW the 1 breed was enough . . . such as 1 breed having all of their cities . . . and 1 breed could have only these and those classes . . .

from the official FAQ:

"What playable races are there in Guild Wars?

In the first chapter you play characters from the human race. In subsequent chapters of Guild Wars, you may be able to play members of other races."

lol that maybe sounds more like you will be

well it wouldn't be all that bad if they could make it so that the professions you chose make a difference on your race, e.g. r/n would be something like a dark elf.

Sorrow's Furnace's story goes along with Guild Wars? I dont get the whole thing about it . . . or is it like GW 2?

its just free added content, which i assume will include more story. the expansion pack is more free added content, but just lots of it. supposidly it will have as much new content as the original so i guess its kinda like GW2.

but the big difference is that Sorrow's Furnace is a "update" which is free and the expansion pack isn't free but has alot of new stuff in it :D
