Smiter build help

I have been trying to come up with a good smiter build, either Monk/X or X/Monk, for farming and pvp. I use an Ele/Monk for PvE and it seems to do ok.

the pve set up is:
Ele/Monk
12 smiting
10 healing
8 en storage

Shield of judgement
Symbol of wrath
Balthazaars aura
Smite hex
Orison of healing
Healing breeze
Vigorous spirit
rebirth

I was hoping for some tips on what I should change if anything for soloing or 2-3 man farming. I also wanted to see if anyone had any good pvp builds out there. I just like to test builds and see how they fair.

I came up with the following pvp build but it seems clumsy:
Monk/Ranger
12 +2 smiting
12 wilderness survival
Shield of judgement
Symbol of wrath
Balthazaars aura
Smite hex
Dryders Defense
Barbed Trap
Troll unguent
rez

Comments &/or suggestions?

Re: Smiter build help

for pvp with your e/mo I would suggest putting max attributes into one of you primary elemental skills because you can get up to 14, where as with monk skills you can only get up to 12 since it is your secondary. then go up to 12 in either smiting or healing. put the rest in energy storage. the thing about e/mo in pvp is you will be a target becuase e/mo's tend to be healers in disguise.

mo/r is good if your an all healing build; troll ungent and healing spring are great heals. i dont have as much experience with Mo, but i would imagine smiting with troll ungent would be a great build.

Re: Smiter build help

I am trying out your elemonk smite build and I like it but I am low level atm so I don't have a lot of smite skills, I just got Judges insite and I am anxious to see how that works.
